This Prakop Alert app provides flash flood and weather forecast information for Nepal. Key features: Accurate and reliable data: The app uses data from the High-Impact Weather Assessment Toolkit (HIWAT) and the Flash Flood Prediction Tool (FFPT). Forecast information: 2 days of forecast information provided at every hour. Displays weather information such as temperature, rainfall, lightning, hail and wind. River discharge information is available for 12,428 river segments in Nepal. Location based forecast: Provides forecast at municipality level, allowing users to search and access weather information for their desired municipalities. For river discharge information, users can select rivers within desired municipality using geographical maps. Dual language: The app is available in two languages; English and Nepali. User-friendly interface: Icon and color coded elements help the users to visualize the information quickly.
