This app then intercepts the traffic going through the VPN and blocks malicious domains. The intercepted traffic does not get redirected to any website for analysis, it is only forwarded to its original destination. All analysis of the domain is performed locally on the device. Privacy: No files or information are ever uploaded to cloud services, in most cases only hashes and in rare cases some information about the files (path, hash, name, size) and names of the installed applications are sent to the cloud service for detection purposes.
