The Petra Museum offers to you what you may not see in the Archaeological Park. His Majesty King Abdullah II laid the foundation stone for The Petra Museum on 17 October 2014. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II officially opened the museum on World Heritage Day, 18 April, 2019. The construction and preparation of The Petra Museum was implemented by the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, with the cooperation of the Japanese Government.
