This app was designed by an avid hiker to use on full-day and multi-day hikes. Track Your Trek uses the built-in pedometer on your iPhone to calculate distance traveled and speed. You can track your route automatically or chose to only record waypoints manually. Options for route tracking allow you specify the frequency at which your location is recorded to conserve your battery on longer hikes. You may view your route and recorded waypoints on a map and export your journey to a GPX file. This application is entirely free, with no in-app purchases and no advertisements.
