The history of the city of Pattensen is unique. With the free Pattensen time travel app, residents, guests and interested parties can now immerse themselves in the moving history of the city on a self-guided tour. The tour of the city ends at the market square, where you can finally have a bite to eat. A highlight of the time travel app is the 3D reconstruction of the old castle. A model was created for the former castle according to the ground plan of the historical map "Pattensen anno Domini 1540" with a typical appearance at the end of the Middle Ages around 1500 (before it was destroyed in the Hildesheim collegiate feud). Based on this model of Pattensen Castle, a 360 degree panorama was created with an interior view of the castle grounds in all directions.
