You are given the opportunity to list your available parking space within the app. Members who have already secured a spot prior to opening the app can take the role of LISTER and put the space up on the list for fellow SEEKERS to hopefully take or in this case, Swap. The listing also allows you to take the role of a SEEKER in which you are able to book an available parking space within the list. Each listing has all the details you need to determine if it's ideal for what you're looking for as a Seeker. It contains the address where the parking space is located, the Lister's name, the type vehicle currently occupying the parking spot, and the schedule of the space's availability. The list also contains a note feature so as to make it easier for Seekers to understand the listing in detail. You will also be able to tag your most visited areas as a FAVORITE on the app. This feature allows you to be notified if a “SEEKER” has put in a request that you are able to accommodate. As Swappers, we compensate one another within the Swap-A-Park community by securing a listing. Through a detailed map of street parking availability (free and metered), a LISTER is able to share their exact time of departure with a “SEEKER” looking for listings within their desired area. A SEEKER can now filter through available street parking listings (posted by their fellow SWAPPER) and choose from listings and schedules that work in their favor. Should no listings exist in your specific area, you can also put up a request for where you are seeking and anyone that tagged your requested location as a FAVORITE will get a notification that someone is currently seeking in the area.
