Each outing records and saves to your logbook the exact overlaid track, weather conditions, max speed, distance traveled, time elapsed, and specific notes. Your tracks are automatically tied to your vessel that you set up in your NauticEd profile. You can txt friends your live sailing track so they can follow you – which also acts as an accurate float plan. You can easily create an anchor drift alarm by drawing a circle around your boat on your screen with your finger (requires internet service for the anchor drift alarm map).
