USMLE Step 1 is probably one of the toughest exams that you'll take in your medical career. The curriculum is massive and requires repetitive revisions. To make these revisions easier, I came up with the idea of summarizing all my flashcards in an app format. This led to the development of Flashmed app. The app has very simple mechanics and is probably the simplest flashcard app on the app store. There are more than 10,000 flashcards in the app and gives you a unique opportunity to do revisions on a go. Imagine yourself traveling or just going to bed and you wanted to revise the topic you just reviewed. Simply open the app and select the deck from that particular topic. Each deck has 50 unique flashcards that are written by myself and other experts in the field. Review the cards as you do your routine work. Reinforce your knowledge by bookmarking the difficult flashcards for later review. The bookmarked cards will form a separate deck in the Favourite section that you access from the main screen.
