Life is constantly throwing obstacles in our way, and sometimes we feel like we’re the only one jumping over them. The problem with that, or rather the solution, is we’re actually not alone. There are nearly eight billion people in the world, which means the chances are high that someone has experienced or is experiencing the same thing, at the same time, as you. I’ve worked with my team to create an app that is intended to create a sense of community, a sense of togetherness and a platform for relatability. It’s called Let’s Pause. With Let’s Pause, you can share or view videos and stories about all things related to mental wellness. Whether that be stress, anxiety, addiction, motivation, exercise, routine, the list goes on. You know those little habits you’ve developed that help you get through your day-to-day? Well, with Let’s Pause you can share those with others, and it might help them more than you think. You could be an inspiration today, whether you know it or not, and you can help others by sharing your daily experiences. If you’re not ready to inspire or have yet to find a way to cope with a specific issue, then just maybe you’ll be inspired or find a solution that works for you. The motivation to start Let’s Pause was to create something that would unite instead of divide. Emotions don’t discriminate and they impact every single one of us. I wanted to create a platform people could use to help them believe that they can, in fact, overcome anything in their path. This platform is intended to show us that we’re not alone, and to help us overcome challenges by learning how others just like us overcame.
