As a training tool, the app guides the user in a structured manner through the most important criteria, such as implant type and implant stability, biofilm maturity, pathogen characteristics, soft tissue conditions, comorbidities, and infection recurrence, thereby determining the correct PJI-TNM classification. Clinical professionals complete a specially designed questionnaire to determine the PJI-TNM classification. After answering the questionnaire, the app provides the corresponding PJI-TNM code.
