Understanding complex bony Anatomy and Pathology of the Foot and Ankle is essential to the interpretation of musculoskeletal CT. The anatomy of the ankle is complex and in the past CT evaluation of the ankle was often limited to axial slices and simple multiplanar reconstructions. However improvements in CT scanning technology now allow thin collimation and isotropic datasets.
