EXFO RFTM vs OTDR Data Transporter Uso e estatísticas
This application serves as a mobile client for EXFO RFTM, an optical fiber test and monitoring solution using an intelligent OTDR which you can operate on premises or through the EXFO cloud server.
The EXFO RFTM solution is designed to build, turn up, and monitor any type of fiber network, including point-to-point and PON links.
This mobile application is the field extension of EXFO RFTM. It is used by field technicians and engineers to execute various tests from an OTDR unit installed in a fixed and central location.
Testing supports running end-to-end loss tests on PONs in an FTTP context and runs the remote OTDR in tone mode on the selected route for fiber identification, even in live fiber conditions.
Field technicians can also use the app to fully characterize the distribution fibers connecting a main hub or cabinet to premises from the remote iOLM test unit.

"OTDR Data Transporter" can transfer data files measured by the Yokogawa AQ7280 OTDR to a cloud storage service (such as Dropbox) using a wireless LAN SDHC memory Card.
It will also enable the ability to easily mail the measurement trace, report, or image file (.SOR/.PDF/.BMP/.JPG) after the file is transferred to the iPad or iPhone.

This application is exclusively designed to work with the FlashAir™ LAN SDHC memory card sold by Toshiba Corporation and may not function properly if another type of LAN SDHC memory card is used.

This application can display the OTDR files with the extension .SOR, .PDF, .BMP, .JPG
After it is saved to applicable LAN SDHC Memory Card.
-SendMail
This feature allows selection of the file saved to the LAN SDHC Memory Card to be sent via email using a cellular service on the iPhone or iPad.
This function is useful when you want to transfer the data and reports measured by the OTDR at remote locations in the field.
-Upload to CloudStorage
This feature authenticates the data within the application, and can upload files to the cloud via Dropbox.
