The Multi-Smart multifunctional module is designed to control central heating and ventilation systems (destratifier or free cooling). It generates a Wi-Fi signal that enables the user to establish a local connection via a smartphone or iOS-compatible tablet. Several configurable functions enable the user to control boilers, pumps, motorized valves, and fans according to temperature measurements and programmes hours. In order to use certain functions, the Multi-Smart must be combined with one or more programmable room thermostats. Possible functions Control of a boiler and pumps for domestic hot-water production without three-way valve Control of a boiler, pumps, and a three-way valve for domestic hot-water production Control of a boiler and up to four pumps or zone valves in a multi-zone system Cascade control of two boilers depending on the outside temperature Pump or three-way valve control in a system with solar panels Control of destratifier fan Control of a variable-speed pump in a co-generation unit Control of a boiler, domestic hot-water production, and a heating circuit that can be temperature-adjusted according to the room temperature Control of a mixing valve and two pumps to ensure constant temperature control of hot water in a domestic heating system or domestic hot-water circuit Control of a boiler, a mixing valve, and two pumps for outdoor temperature control Control of a variable-speed fan in a free-cooling installation. Inputs and outputs The Multi-Smart is powered by 230 V. It has two inputs for PTC thermistor probes, four inputs for connections, five outputs with connections for boiler, pump, valve, fan control and a 0-10 V output for modulating boiler or variable-speed pump or fan.
