Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), like heart disease, cancer, chronic respiratory disease, and diabetes, are the leading cause of death worldwide. They represent an emerging global health threat. The role of physicians' knowledge and clinical practice in effective management of non-communicable diseases is crucial to warrant the highest possible levels of quality of life for the patients. This initiative is from the primary health care specialists in Kuwait to engage in latest clinical guidelines on non-communicable diseases.
