Y&Co is the APP for the Coliseum Archaeological Park created for all under the name of DESIGN FOR ALL. Y&Co is the acronym for You and Coliseum but also You and Community, in other words, the entire group of people united by the same passion and interest for the Coliseum Archaeological Park. Y&Co is the App designed so that everybody can, free of charge, prepare for the visit beforehand and have additional insights when visiting the monuments in the PArCo. The App contains 4 different itinerary modes: • A general itinerary in 9 languages (Italian, English, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese) and multimedia contents • An itinerary for children, with the mascot, Tarpeia the Vestal (Italian and English) and multimedia contents • An itinerary for the blind (Italian and English), with audio descriptions • An itinerary for the deaf (ISL and ASL) with official interpreters The Y&Co App was created to provide additional insights to the itinerary of touchscreen panels positioned throughout the PArCo, between the Coliseum (second order/tier), the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. The touchscreen panels use layouts and 3D reproductions to illustrate some of the monuments in the PArCo and artefacts in the Palatine Museum. With the Y&Co App you can: • SELECT your preferred itinerary • SELECT the monuments or artefacts that interest you along the itinerary • SEE, READ, LISTEN AND ENJOY additional insights into the selected contents The Y&Co App comes equipped with a map: by activating the notifications on the Menu page you can receive a proximity alert when nearing one of the monuments or artefacts in the PArCo.
