Sundial Solar & Lunar Time vs Weathergraph weather widget Usage & Stats

Sundial is the app you didn't know you needed, showing vital info about the sun and moon any time, anywhere. Never wonder when the sun will set or rise again! Tracking the sun and moon is something people have done for thousands of years but it's never been easier than it is today with Sundial. Sundial puts solar and lunar information into the palm of your hand and, thanks to the Apple Watch app, onto your wrist as well! Sundial is an app designed to give everyone access to the sun and moon in ways they don't normally have it. Perfect for runners, hikers, campers, boaters, sailors, pilots, gardeners, farmers, photographers, film/tv production crew, astronomers, astrophotographers, solar installers, and travelers of all kinds. Sundial is an app for anyone who just needs to know when it'll get light and dark. Sundial provides a one-of-a-kind display of the sun and moon's rise and set cycle over the 24-hour day. As the seasons change, the yellow Òsun is outÓ arc informs you of the precious daylight hours, shrinking during winter months and expanding as summer approaches. The white inner arc represents when the moon is visible in the sky. Civil, nautical, and astronomical twilights are also shown on the solar dial in shades of blue. Create alerts for one of 24 different solar and lunar events and Sundial will tell you about them Ð without you ever having to open the app. The 24 events that support notifications include: - Sunrise, solar mid-morning, solar noon, solar mid-afternoon, sunset, and solar midnight - Civil twilight (dawn/dusk), nautical twilight, and astronomical twilight - Moonrise, lunar noon, moonset, and lunar midnight - Moon phases: full moon, new moon, first quarter moon, and last quarter moon - Astronomical seasons: March equinox, June solstice, September equinox, and December solstice All notifications can be customized to alert you minutes, hours, and even days before an event takes place. Sundial can give you plenty of notice that you need to be ready for a sunrise, sunset, and more. Like to walk your dog for 30 minutes before dusk? Sundial can help you with that! There's more, too! TIME TRAVEL Use Sundial's 24-hour wheel to see where the sun and moon will be today, tomorrow, and any other time you choose. Use gestures on iPhone and iPad to scroll through dates. Or jump to a specific date with iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. WIDGETS Sundial features 35 different home and lock screen widgets. Most are customizable. APPLE WATCH APP The Sundial Apple Watch app makes all of its solar and lunar data available where it's most easily found Ð right on your wrist. Because Sundial runs on your watch you won't even need to have your iPhone with you. I built Weathergraph to be the weather app I always wanted — clear visual forecasts, professional-grade data, and zero tracking. Weathergraph is a paid app because forecast APIs aren’t free, and I work daily to keep it the most useful visual weather app out there. Start with a 7-day free trial. Continue with an annual membership that supports ongoing development and premium weather data — or unlock lifetime Pro with a single one-time purchase. WHY OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS LOVE WEATHERGRAPH • Up to 7 days of hour-by-hour data in a single glanceable chart — temperature curves, rain bars, wind, clouds, sunshine ... all in one timeline • Widgets with real graphs for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac • Know exactly when rain starts: “Light rain 2:30–3:15 PM,” powered by Rainbow.ai radar + ML. Perfect for runners, cyclists or ski trips. • Rain alerts up to 60 min ahead. Plan your workout, hike, or fishing trip with confidence. • Built for kite surfing and sailing enthusiasts: wind speed + gusts, direction, pressure trends, UV peaks, heat index • Works offline — your forecast stays cached for 24h, and keeps working even in mountains or travels • Privacy-first design — no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no data sharing SEE YOUR WEATHER AT A GLANCE Weathergraph turns raw weather numbers into a visual narrative: • Temperature as a smooth gradient line — instantly spot the warmest hour for your bike ride • Rain & snow as blue bars — taller bars = heavier precipitation • Sunshine breaks shown with actual sun-rays between clouds, highlighting the best time for outdoor activities • Wind visualization with gusts and direction arrows • UV index graph — know when to apply sunscreen (hint: above 3) • Barometer trends to understand pressure-driven changes • Background color changes with the sky from dawn blue to sunset orange • Today's highs and lows marked directly in the chart • Sunrise/sunset times with twilight shading APPLE WATCH APP DONE RIGHT • The only weather app with full hourly graphs on your watch face • Rich complications for every weather metric you care about • Caches your forecast for 24 hours — even when you’re offline on a mountain ridge WIDGETS THAT ACTUALLY HELP • Large widget shows nowcast and hourly charts plus up to week of weather • Quick-glance widgets: UV index with sun protection reminder, wind speed with direction arrow, dew point and comfort scale, sunrise & sunset time ... • Lock screen widgets to see the detailed forecast before you unlock • Stack multiple widgets for your morning weather briefing TRUSTED DATA SOURCES Weathergraph pulls from a curated set of professional forecast systems: • Apple Weather • Rainbow.ai (world-class radar + ML nowcast) • Foreca • Open-Meteo (and its plentahora of national foercast models) • Pirate Weather (NOAA's HRRR, GFS and GEFS models) • yr.no Pilots and surfers check wind graphs before takeoff. Photographers plan golden hour. Skiers know when exactly the blizzard starts. If you loved Dark Sky or Weather Line, you’ll feel right at home.
