Green Slope vs The Golf Analysis Toolbox Usage & Stats

"Green Slope" measures the slope and then predicts the break and aimpoint required for a putt. It's intended as a training aid, providing assistance with visualization and understanding of putts. Set the green speed, select pin direction, place the device on ground for three seconds, and read your putt. Using the internal iPhone and iPad motion sensors to assess the device orientation and attitude, the App measures slopes across and along the line of the putt. The estimated Fall Line direction and slope are then used to predict the likely break. Standard 'Aimpoint', 'Plays As', 'Fingers' and other tables are available from the menu. These can be adjusted for slopes, Stimp, past hole distance, and other parameters. The app then provides graphical overviews of selected putts with optional configurations. Since many phones have one or more camera lenses on the back preventing accurate slope measurements, Green Slope has been designed to be used with the phone is face down or face up on the green. Comprehensive help on app use is available from the menu button.

The Golf Analysis Toolbox (tGAT) is a comprehensive collection of golf tools designed to lower golf scores. With tGAT it is possible to analyse both green reading and ball flights like never before. Finally get the numbers for how the wind affects the ball in motion, learn the tGAT green reading system and much more. On top of this, there is a wide range of exercises and tests with statistics that track your progression and skill. Track everything from your distance control and 3–10 ft putting, to your ability to estimate the slope of the green with your feet, and distance control with your wedges. Get started by following along with the YouTube tutorial series found directly in the App. For additional information see our website: mhgolf.se FEATURES IN THE APP The following is a selection of the features available. The free-version of the app gives you access to most features of the app. Ball Flight: See different ball flights in respect to the parameters: ball speed, launch angle, total spin; spin axis, start direction, wind strength; wind direction, ground-level, temperature and altitude. Then view the ball flight parameters: carry, height, side; curve, descent angle and hang time. Save ball flight information to quickly import your own ball flight for different clubs. Alternatively, import saved PGA and LPGA Tour averages for different clubs. Green Reading: Learn the simplified tables which are the backbone of the tGAT green reading system with an in-built Practice Tables page. Practice green reading off-course with the Practice Reading page. Evaluate the side-to-side slope, up-and-down elevation along with the distance and stimp to very accurately estimate the aim for a putt. All based on the simplified tables and simple math. From the Sensors page, use the sensors in your phone to measure the slope of the green. Use this feature to either estimate the aim for a specific putt or practice estimating slope with your feet/eyes. In the Feel Slope Stats page you will then see a detailed outline for your stats and a visualization for expected make-rate for different types of putts. Use the Wind Deflection page to learn how to accurately adjust your aim based on the wind when putting. Putting: With the Putt Analyser page see how your slope-miss read error, speed error and start direction error will affect your make-rate for different putts. A distance control test that makes it possible to estimate your own Speed Error when putting. Three different putt tests that follow a putt importance distribution and focus on improving the 3–10 ft putting range. Also a dedicated statistics page that highlights skill and progression. Easily create your own new putting exercises from the Completion Drill page. Get a comparative difficulty rating that makes it possible to decide if the exercise is right for you. Wedges: Practice your distance control with your wedges by completing wedge tests with 10 random distances inside a set distance range. Follow your skill and progression from the statistics page.
