Green Slope vs Putt Maker Usage & Stats

Green Slope lets you measure the slope and then predicts the amount of break required for a putt. It's intended as a training aid, providing assistance with visualization of cross slope putts. Set the green speed, select pin direction, place the device on ground for three seconds, and read your putt. Using the internal iPhone and iPad motion sensors to assess the device orientation and attitude, the App measures slope across and along the line of the putt. The estimated Fall Line direction and slope are then used to predict the likely break. Standard style Break Tables are also available in the menu, that can be adjusted for green speed, past hole distance and clock angle. The app then provides graphical overviews of selected putts with optional configurations. Since many phones have one or more camera lenses on the back preventing accurate slope measurements, Green Slope has been designed to be used with the phone is face down or face up on the green. Putt Maker

Reading the break of a green is the skill that separates the pro golfers from the amateurs. Unfortunately, many greens are deceptive, appearing to break and then not or appearing level and then breaking. Using Putt Maker you can learn how to read the green like a pro, make more putts and lower your golf score. Using Putt Maker is easy. Using your device's gyroscope Putt Maker shows you the direction and magnitude of the slope. Simply place your device on the green and the needle will point down the slope. The outer ring grows as the severity of the slope increases and the ring color changes color from green (flat-ish) to red (extreme breaks!!!). Take one measurement or several to give yourself an accurate picture of the break and determine how you're going to line up your putt.
