Audioteria is an app that takes you straight to audio dramas made by some of the best independent producers in the world. Not only is it convenient, but you’ll be supporting stories that their creators believe in passionately enough to want to share them with you via this unique new platform. At the moment, audio drama on other platforms tends to get lost in the melee of podcasts and audiobooks; are misbranded or labelled and easy to accidentally overlook. We want to put all that great full-cast drama listening in one easily accessible place. We will also offer enhanced audiobooks and audiobooks – made by all manner of independent, creative people and companies – but our focus is on pure drama and narrative storytelling. Most importantly, some of our audio dramas will be exclusive to Audioteria and won’t be available anywhere else. Download and start listening now! HOW DOES IT WORK? First off, get the app and set up your profile! Some shows and series will be free to download and/or stream. You’ll be able to browse everything through the Audioteria app, then head to the website to purchase. After you’ve checked out (or subscribed), your drama, book or series will automatically download to your phone or tablet ready for listening straight away. You can listen offline whenever and wherever you like! A quiet afternoon on the sofa with a cup of tea, while cooking, on public transport or heading out in your car – connect via CarPlay, Bluetooth or USB and lose yourself in an audio movie. Will there be a monthly subscription? There is no subscription to pay, but you will need to create a profile. Just buy what you want and enjoy the free stuff! As Audioteria develops, we may introduce a paid subscription option, but the option to make one-off purchases won’t change and you’ll be able to keep what you’ve bought. At launch there will be a wide range of titles to choose from, but over time this will extend to hundreds more titles as well as collections from featured producers. Get listening!
