VaudID-santé vs TrustID Authenticator Usage & Stats
VaudID-santé is a strong authentication application of the State of Vaud generating a one-time secret code based on time (TOTP code).
This application enables you protecting the access to the different services you wish to access.
When you authenticate with your VaudID-santé account, a notification is sent to you by the application. You can then accept or refuse this connection request. If you do not receive the notification or can not accept it, you can enter the temporary code generated in the VaudID-santé application to authenticate yourself.

TrustID Authenticator works with 2-factor authentication for your TrustID accounts.
The app itself is protected by biometrics or PIN code. Sensitive data, such as the secrets of your second factors, are stored securely on your device only.
When you access to a service using your TrustID account, a push notification will be delivered to your app that lets you confirm or cancel the sign-in process in an effortless way. If the notification service is unavailable, a traditional offline mode can also be used to not miss any sign-in sessions.
