A service of the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky, the Frazier+ app provides engaging and educational Kentucky history content—anytime, anywhere. Explore our collection of videos, photos, and texts to either heighten your in-person experience or learn from the comfort of your couch or classroom.
Located in the West Main District of downtown Louisville, the Frazier is where the world meets Kentucky. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the Frazier documents and shares stories from Kentucky history using artifacts, exhibitions, and guided tours led by a talented staff of educators. With the opening of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center and the Spirit of Kentucky® exhibition in 2018, the Frazier became the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®.
Frazier+ offers deep insight into many of the museum’s most compelling stories, objects, and figures. Included on the app is the walking/driving audio tour The Journey, which focuses on the Underground Railroad and the lives of Lucie and Thornton Blackburn. You’ll also find professional videos that shed light on stories from our exhibitions, including Cool Kentucky, The Commonwealth: Divided We Fall, The Spirit of Kentucky, and more.
