Now, you can listen to my voice and the rhythm of my heart as you pray with the Way of the Cross for the Unborn app. January 22nd is designated by the Catholic Church in the United States as the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children. This annual observance serves as a particular day of prayer and penance. The faithful are invited to: - Pray for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life. - Perform Penance for violations against human dignity committed through acts of abortion. - Attend Mass, specifically the "Mass for Giving Thanks to God for the Gift of Human Life" or the "Mass for Justice and Peace". - Participate in Devotions, such as the 9 Days for Life novena (starting Jan. 16), the Pro-Life Rosary, or The Way of the Cross for the Unborn. While the 2022 Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. This devotion, dedicated to our Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, was first blessed by Bishop John L. Morkovsky in 1983.
