CVE Daily vs Terminal - SFTP & SSH Client Usage & Stats
CVE Daily is a utility that displays the Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVEs) added (i.e., published) to the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) on any specific date. Information is gathered by the trusted and respected website of NVD, https://nvd.nist.gov/. It is U.S. government repository of standards based vulnerability management data represented using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
The initial list of CVEs is for the current day and users can select any day in the past to see the related records.
The 3 button options at the top let the user search for:
1. A list of CVEs for a specific date
2. A specific CVE ID Number
3. A list of CVEs, based on keywords and a date period
A color scheme, based on the CVSS standards, highlights each record with its severity level. Extended description of the vulnerability is part of the detailed information, including a link for additional resources.
A handy tool for anyone in the Cyber Security sector.
