nRF Wi-Fi Provisioner vs Renesas WiFiProvisioning Usage & Stats
The nRF7002 is a companion IC, providing seamless Wi-Fi connectivity and Wi-Fi-based locationing (SSID sniffing of local Wi-Fi hubs). It is designed to be used alongside Nordic’s existing nRF52® and nRF53® Series Bluetooth Systems-on-Chip (SoCs), and nRF91® Series cellular IoT Systems-in-Package (SiPs). The nRF7002 can also be used in conjunction with non-Nordic host devices.
An nRF7002-based device, or a nRF7002 Development Kit (DK) is required.

* Provisioning nRF7002 devices to Wi-Fi networks over BLE, Wi-Fi itself or NFC.
* Reading device status, including Wi-Fi connection state.
* Re-provisioning nRF7002 devices to a different network.

The WiFiProvisioning app from Renesas Electronics is a mobile application that works with devices which support the Renesas Wi-Fi provisioning functionality, such as Development Kits based on Renesas RRQ61000/DA16200 Wi-Fi SoCs and RRQ61400/DA16600 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® Low Energy combo SoCs.
With the app you can configure the RRQ61000/DA16200 and RRQ61400/DA16600 devices to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
In addition, if you use the RRQ61000/DA16200 SDK or RRQ61400/DA16600 SDK that supports AWS IoT or Azure IoT, you can test the corresponding functionality.
