"Hello Agent! We need your help!
A vault has been discovered containing stolen treasures, this is being used to fund evil plans for world domination! We must recover the stolen treasure at all costs.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to break into the top-secret vault and retrieve the treasures! You will face many challenging locks when attempting to do so, you will need your number bonds to successfully break in undetected and complete your mission!"

3 Fun Game Modes:
Practice Mode - Children practise their number bond skills on different types of locks, choose from number bonds up to 10 or up to 20. The alarms have been deactivated and if the agent is struggling they can reveal the correct answer to help them.
Missions - A more challenging game mode, the alarm is activated! Choose how many 'questions' to answer, activate a timer for an even harder challenge & choose between number bonds up to 10 and up to 20.
VAULT BREAKER! - Once the agent is ready they can activate vault breaker mode! The bad guys are planning to move the treasure to another location so we need to act fast! Accuracy and speed is key to getting to the vault before it is emptied! Choose from one of 4 different difficulty levels, only the best Number Bond Agents can defeat the vault on EXTREME mode and recover ALL of the stolen treasure!
- Children will receive a unique score based on their accuracy and speed through the games, the higher the score the more gold recovered!
- A summary is shown and saved to the device camera roll to allow teachers/parents to identify any areas where children might be struggling.
- Each difficulty level is unlocked by completing the level before.
Easy - 3 'lives' on every 'question', number bonds up to 10, 3 vault doors to break through (randomly chosen).
Medium - 3 'lives' on every 'vault', number bonds up to 10, 5 vault doors to break through (randomly chosen), additional questions shown on each vault.
Hard - 3 'lives' for the entire game, number bonds up to 20, 5 vault doors to break through (randomly chosen), additional questions shown on each vault.
Extreme - The ultimate challenge! Only 1 life for the entire game, number bonds up to 20, 5 vault doors to break through (randomly chosen), and even more questions shown on each vault... plus, the bad guys have activated the self-destruct timer! Get bonus time for each correct answer! Accuracy and speed is key! Only the best Number Bond Agents can reach the centre of the vault in time to recover ALL of the stolen treasure!
Vault 'Locks'
- Keypad Hacker
Use the keypad to complete the number bond. Your trusty hacking panel will show you the number you are trying to make.
- Safe Cracker
The button to open the vault has been hidden inside a top-of-the-range safe! Turn the dial on the safe to complete each number bond in the combinations. Steady hands required!
- Laser Maker
A laser lock! Drag each laser to the correct number, to make the number bond. Take your time, lasers can be dangerous things!
- Briefcase Buster
We have recovered a briefcase with a complex lock, the case contains the button to open one of the vaults. Roll the tumblers on the briefcase to make the correct number bond.
- Hydro Linker
The bad guys are trying to thwart your attempts to recover the gold! They have sabotaged the hydraulic system that powers the vault. Fix the pipes by dragging the correct connector to make the number bond.

Squeebles Number Bonds helps primary school children build their core mental arithmetic skills by answering number bonds questions across a variety of game modes. The app features a motivating reward system where Squeebles characters can be won for answering questions correctly, along with dragon eggs that can be hatched to reveal baby dragons (each with their own unique personality), once enough stars have been earned.
Why Number Bonds?
Number bonds can also be referred to as "number pairs" or "number families". A number bond is a pair of numbers that together make up a round number, such as 6 and 4 making 10; or 8 and 12 making 20. Working towards having an instant familiarity with these much-used number bonds is the basis for going on to work confidently with more complex or challenging maths problems involving larger numbers.
This app focuses on number bonds to 10, 20, 50, 100, 1000 and decimals to 1 that, in line with the UK National Curriculum, cover the different number bonds your child will be learning across their primary school years.
The app consists of four unique game modes with varying difficulty levels...
Balancing Act:
Drag numbered eggs onto a seesaw to balance the addition or subtraction questions.
Number Smash:
Select as many pairs of numbers as you can in the time limit, in an ever-changing grid of colourful sliding blocks.
River Crossing:
Lay numbered tiles across a river to make a bridge. The first number on each newly laid tile must form a number bond with the last number of the previous tile.
Timed Quiz:
Answer as many number bond questions as you can within a one or three minute time limit.
Reward System:
- 28 Squeebles characters to win.
- 18 dragon eggs to earn and hatch into baby dragons.
- Each dragon egg can be hatched by sprinkling a different number of stars on it.
- Stars are earned by answering questions correctly.
- Each animated Squeeble and dragon has its own personality and unique stats.
- 5 of the dragons within the app were designed by our competition winners.
Parent / Teacher Features:
- A password-protected parent / teacher area allows adults to track progress and view stats for each child.
- All progress is stored on the device, so no internet connection or child passwords are required.
- Unlimited child accounts can be set up
- Overall stats and daily stats for each game can be viewed on a per-child basis, allowing you to get a clear idea of how each child is progressing over time
- Settings can be altered for each child, including the ability to lock certain number bonds, switch on or off the Open Dyslexic font, show or hide the countdown timer, and display text in UK or US English.
Child-friendly Features:
As with all our apps, Squeebles Number Bonds contains no in-app purchases, no subscription fees, no adverts and no links to the internet of any kind. This is a completely self-contained application.
