The Method: The main part of the app is a starters method for the classical guitar. You will master a solid playing technique as well as a good basis for reading music. The Note Finder: The app also includes The Note Finder. This is a handy tool you can use as a cheat sheet while you are learning to read music. If you are playing a piece of music in The Method and you forgot where on the guitar a certain note can played, the Note Finder will certainly help you out. Memory Game: And if you like the style of learning, the app also includes a Memory Game. It is a pairing game where you have to pair music notes to positions and strings on the guitar. The Method consists of more than 120 videos divided over 24 levels. You learn to play melodies in the first position. And in the future there will be a second part of the method. Then you are going to play melodies accompanied with bass notes, so called polyphony. Guitar Notes.

This is the free version. It includes: GUITAR NOTES SECTION on which you can click any string and fret on the virtual guitar fretboard to see the corresponding note on the staff, its name and its pitch. This section includes exercises on which notes appear on the staff and you have to click on the string and the fret corresponding to each particular note. Or in reverse: a string and fret are marked in red and you have to click the right note on the staff. This helps on being able to see a written note and relate it with the guitar fretboard or seeing an specific fretboard position and knowing which one is the corresponding note on the staff. There are exercises without time limit to click and there are exercises with time limit to increase the speed to respond. After working this exercises you will be able to see a note on the staff and locate it´s position on the fretboard and you will be able to see an specific fret and string and know which is the corresponding note on the staff. Playing guitar chords or guitar scales is easier if you know how to locate music notes from a guitar sheet music on the guitar fretboard. Guitar notes can be learned fast with this app. If you want to find out how to play guitar or if you want to use a guitar chords chart this app will be very helpful.
