However, monsters suddenly appeared in Takamagahara and stole many sacred treasures, including the Amenonuhoko. Kotoamatsukami orders Izanagi and Izanami, the last of the seven generations of primordial deities, to recover the stolen sacred treasures. Through the fierce battles with the monsters, Izanagi and Izanami enhanced their mutual trust and began to dream of creating their ideal heaven on earth. This Episode 0: Age of the Gods is the prequel to Yuya's "Island of Origin." What future will Izanagi and Izanami choose when their journey ends in a soul-wrenching separation?
