Cognition Snapshot + vs TabCAT Usage & Stats

Cognition Snapshot is intended for use in the healthcare setting and is available only to healthcare professionals. Cognition Snapshot is an iPad-based assessment designed to evaluate their processing speed as a means of assessing their cognitive capabilities. It provides a Processing Speed Test (PST) and a Visual Memory Test (VMT) that evaluates cognitive function using elements of attention, psychomotor speed, visual processing, working memory, spatial memory, and verbal memory. Cognition Snapshot is based on the Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) and 7/24 Spatial Recall Test. During the assessment, the patient pairs abstract symbols with numbers, using a key as a guide, and then recalls a series of symbols and their location in a grid. Cognition Snapshot is intended for use in the healthcare setting and is available only to healthcare professionals. Cognition Snapshot is supported on any model of iPad which supports iOS 13 and has a 9.7” or greater display. Healthcare professionals should not rely primarily on Cognition Chronicle to make a clinical diagnosis or treatment decision for the patient.
