Display0183M vs WilhelmSK Usage & Stats
Display0813M is a customizable app designed for sailors, offering NMEA information on iWatches, iPhones, iPads, and Macs, as well as ActiveLook smart glasses. It provides a wide range of over 30 sailing measurements from the boat’s NMEA network, enhanced by polar tables. Users can view these measurements in digital or analog displays , or on comprehensive Wind and Route Displays.
The Wind Display presents all essential sailing information in a contextually aware analog format. It offers comprehensive wind and heading information in both analog and digital formats. The display adapts to the sailing context, whether you’re going upwind, downwind, or towards a waypoint, and is further enhanced by the polars data.
The Route Display provides information about the anticipated apparent wind speed and angle, and the estimated length of the route, including the tacking required for the next route legs, based on the current wind speed, direction, and the boat’s polars. The summary displays the remaining route length, including tacking, and the estimated remaining duration, considering the polars target speed or a user-set constant speed.
Context filtering allows you to enable or disable a display or line of displays based on whether navigating, beating, or the availability of polar data. Optionally, you can display the minimum, maximum, and time series graph and set alerts for each measurement.
The app connects to a NMEA 0813 Wi-Fi gateway such as B&G Vulcan, Zeus, Go Free, Yach Devices YDWG-02 or Actisense W2K-1 .
The supported NMEA 0183 sentences are:
- BWR: Bearing and distance to waypoint
