A reinvented visitor experience: touring the cave with a new application. A new visitor experience at Grotte Chauvet 2, featuring an immersive application for self-guided exploration of the cave. The tour system is based on an application that allows visitors to wander around the site, punctuated by commentaries. They provide all the keys you need to discover and understand the art created by Homo sapiens 36,0000 years ago. - The content of this new application has been entirely developed by our mediation department. - The application will be available in 10 languages. To complete your visit, take advantage of the Aurignacian gallery and the site's activities. THE AURIGNACIAN GALLERY, A PLAYFUL APPROACH This interpretation center lets you discover the life-size Homo sapiens and animals that were present in the Ardèche 36,000 years ago.
