Crystals Harmonizer® vs BLEASS Granulizer Usage & Stats

Eventide Crystals Harmonizer® combines twin reverse pitch shifters with reverse delays and reverb. This iconic H3000 effect can be used to create out-of-this-world climbing and cascading pitched delays or to create unique sounding reverbs. It features two reverse granular delays that can be manipulated by length and pitch. Crystals excels at adding life to boring synths, guitar, and vocals making them sound huge and majestic. From sound design to other-worldly solos, Crystals will spark inspiration. The innovative RIBBON control allows you to modulate many parameters at once. Manipulate the pitches to play it like an instrument or slowly increase feedback to make your signal explode into infinity. Need some extra gusto? Hold down the FLEX button to shift one octave up from the current pitch. Features: - Two pitch-shifters, each with a four-octave range from two octaves down to two octaves up. - Two independently adjustable delays, up to 4 seconds each, with their own individual feedback. - Reverb with 100 seconds of decay. - Make it musical by micro-pitching each voice around the 4th (500 cents), 5th (700 cents), or octave (1200 cents). - Smooth out delay grains by applying up to 4 seconds of delay for each voice. - RIBBON lets you ‘play’ the effect in real-time and provides dynamic and fluid control to morph back and forth between the settings of your choice. - FLEX shifts both voices up one octave at the push of a button. - MIXLOCK keeps MIX control constant as you audition presets. - Available as an Audio Units AUv3 plug-in and Standalone App.

BLEASS Granulizer generates short samples (‘grains’) from different input signals by modulating different parameters which you can visualize thanks to a 3D Visualizer: - Volume - Pan (represented by width in the visualizer) - Size ( = grain’s duration) - Density ( = frequency of grains generation) - Offset ( = the amount of time between record and play represented by the depth in the 3D visualizer) - Backward/Forward Playback Direction - Shape ( = grain’s envelope, represented by the height dimension in the visualizer) - Warmth ( = strength of the distortion applied to the grain) - Tune ( = grains can be pitched up or down according to different modes: “Fine” / Chromatic / Major / Minor / 5th / Major 7th. / Minor 7th / Octave) The amount of randomization can be set with the “dice” knobs. Density, grain size and offset range can be freely synced or beat synced to the host’s tempo. Touching and holding the visualizer modifies pan and density. BLEASS Granulizer takes up to 4 sources from different busses as inputs (compatible host required). When multiple busses are on, each grain is randomly extracted from one of the available sources. Check out www.bleass.com for video tutorials and more info! * PLEASE NOTE: this is an Audio Unit Effect plugin (AUv3) which requires a compatible host such as AUM, Audiobus, GarageBand, Cubasis, BM3 and Auria. Multi-bus compatible hosts (AUM & apeMatrix) also allow you to use the audio routing feature. You can also use the BLEASS Granulizer as a standalone App using headphones, a mic or an external sound card.
