TinnitusPlay vs Oto: Tinnitus Program & Skills Usage & Stats

TinnitusPlay – Science-based sounds to help your tinnitus TinnitusPlay is designed to help people with tinnitus find and create the sounds that are most beneficial to them.   You can select sounds from an extensive library, mix and match them as you please, and save your creations to listen to them later. You can set a timer for your preferred listening time.   TinnitusPlay not only offers sounds to mask your tinnitus, but also sound techniques that have been demonstrated, in clinical studies, to have a longer-lasting beneficial effect for some people. More research is needed to find out for whom these techniques work well and how best to apply them. We offer the following sound techniques: · Notched Audio – Your tinnitus frequency is “notched out” of a sound sequence · Neuromodulation – A tonal repetition centered around your tinnitus frequency · Amplitude Modulation – Sounds that vary in loudness according to a certain cycle Sound techniques like these are often marketed to tinnitus patients at a price, but we offer them to you for free. In order to maximize its effectiveness, TinnitusPlay includes a feature that matches your tinnitus tone and pitch, and also checks your hearing. This way, the various sound modules can be customized to your personal hearing and tinnitus profile. You can read more about the science behind TinnitusPlay in the Information section of the app.   In short, we offer: · Easy to use interface · Extensive library of sounds · Science-based sound modules · Masking your tinnitus · Potential long-term beneficial effects · Customized to your tinnitus and hearing   User Testimonials: “I’m excited.
