USStatesQuiz - Capitals Quiz vs States Usage & Stats
Is your child struggling to master US States and Capitals?
Does your child remember some of them but forget them quickly?
Is learning States/Capitals overwhelming to your child because there are 50 facts to memorize?
This learning app breaks down the 50 states into 4 regions: Midwest, West, South and Northeast. This allows your child to be able to focus on one region at a time and not be overwhelmed by learning all 50 at once. It has a fun yet intentionally simplistic interface to allow practicing and learning the facts. The shape of each state is also shown on the region's map to indirectly facilitate learning the location of each state.
Here is the method I used to teach this subject:
1. Pick one region to focus on each week
2. On short car rides or while waiting for the school bus with your child, pass your child your iPhone and they can work through that region's quiz
If you just do this a few times each week, before long your child will know all of the States&Capitals!

Do you ask yourself sometimes, where in the USA is this state and what is its capital? This application shows each state of the USA on the map. Either select it from the list or jump around randomly (with shake gesture).
Runs in portrait and landscape mode.
