An app to determine remaining shelf life as indicated by the color changing SMART DOT™ - a Visual Freshness Sensor. SMARTDOT-SCAN accurately reads the color of the active sensor, indicating how much shelf life is remaining in the product. Upon scanning the sensor, the app deploys advanced machine learning algorithms to determine an accurate color match, and correlates that to a central database matching color to remaining shelf life. SMART DOT™ sensors and the SMARTDOT-SCAN app can be tailored to suit all perishable products.
