Tidegärden är din digitala bönbok! Med hjälp av den här appen kan du be tillsammans med miljontals människor runt om hela jorden och med böner ursprung flera tusen år bakåt i tiden. I en tid präglad av rotlöshet och ett överflöd av information är tideböner en böneform där vi får falla in i samtalet som började århundraden före oss. Det var tidebönerna som stödde Daniel i lejongropen och i tideböner som Jesus hämtade styrka när han hängde på korset, genom bönerna i Psaltaren. Sankt Ambrosius av Milano som levde på 300-talet sa att psaltarens böner ”ger sinnet ro, dämpar bekymren och mildrar sorgens böra. Den är en källa till trygghet om natten, en läromästare om dagen, en sköld mot fruktan, en sätt att hylla det heliga, en vision om sinnesro, ett löfte om fred och enhet”.
