Share your problems anonymously, and get the help and advice you need from our amazingly supportive community. Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety or depression, having problems with family or friends, or dealing with difficult life experiences, the Tellmi community is here for you. Tellmi is completely safe because every single post and reply is checked by a human moderator before it is published, and we have in-house counsellors if you need extra support. There are no AI bots. Just real people who really care about you. Tellmi is available 365 days a year and we will never let you down. Tellmi is age banded, so you are always talking to people your age. You can filter your feed to connect to people who have had the same experiences as you, they get what you are going through. From self-harm to eating disorders, insomnia to autism, the Tellmi community can help you to understand, accept and address the things that are bothering you. Developed by experts, Tellmi is the only peer support app that the NHS in the UK considers safe for children as young as 11. In 2021 an independent study by University College London found statistically significant evidence that using Tellmi helps people to feel better and less alone. The app increases confidence, reduces isolation and gives you the tools you need to manage your mental health. In areas where Tellmi is commissioned by the NHS you may also be able to access free 1-2-1 text based therapy. Tellmi Therapy uses a solution-focused approach. It encourages you to think about what you can do, rather than what you can’t do. It enables you to identify existing strengths and focus on aspects of yourself and your life that you can actually control. The technique is designed to help you to imagine different outcomes so that you can move forward in life.
