With Trein, see departures from a nearby train station in The Netherlands. Save your favourite train stations to also see departures for those.
Get a quick overview of current disruptions and maintenance works for all routes and train stations in The Netherlands. Trein shows cause and effects for these disruptions, changes and advices are automatically updated.
Plan your journeys from and to all train stations in The Netherlands, using multiple different operators. During disruptions, alternate journeys are advised. You can save trips to easily compare them. Viewing saved trips can be done offline, no network connection is required.

Subscription:
Since August 2016, Trein has been available in the App Store. The development and ongoing maintenance of apps takes time, by way of an (optional) subscription, you can sponsor Trein to support the future development of this app.
When becoming a “Trein Sponsor”, the following conditions apply:
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period
• Subscriptions may be managed, and auto-renewal may be turned off, by going to your Account Settings after purchase

In the NS Perronwijzer, you can find information about the next train departing from the platform you are currently on. This allows you to do a final check to make sure you are boarding the correct train if the information on the boards above the platforms is difficult or impossible to read. Have you enabled speech on your phone? Then the app will also read out the information shown on the boards above the platforms. It works very simply: with just a few taps, you can hear the most important travel information for the platform you are on.
In the NS Perronwijzer, you can find information such as:
- the next two trains departing from the relevant track;
- the departure time;
- the final destination;
- the type of train, such as Intercity or Sprinter;
- all intermediate stations;
- special notices such as possible delays or “do not board”.
You can also search for a station in the app and view all current departure times.
The app provides information for all stations in the Netherlands, including stations that are not served by NS.
Some information is not yet available in the app, for example “please note the public address announcement”. We are exploring how we can make all information shown on the boards above the platforms available in the future, so that the information provided by the NS Perronwijzer is complete.

The NS Perronwijzer was made possible by NS, developed in close collaboration with the Oogvereniging (Dutch Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired) and tested by both blind and visually impaired users. We strive to offer accessible travel to all our customers. That is why, every year, we work together with advocacy organizations to improve services for customers with disabilities. In this way, travelling by train becomes a little easier for everyone.
