Card Game 29 is a famous round-winning (or trick-taking) card game played with a deck of 32 cards. It is a descendant of the Jass family of games from the Netherlands and brought to the subcontinent in the 18th Century by Dutch traders.

Key Features of 29 Card Game
It is played with J, 9, A, 10, K, Q, 8, 7 from each suit. Hence there are 32 cards in the game.
The points of each card are: J (3 points), 9 (2), A (1), 10 (1) and K, Q, 8, 7 have 0 points each.
There are 3+2+1+1 = 7 points in each suit, hence a total of 7 x 4 = 28 points. There is an optional additional point for winning the last hand, taking the total to 29.
The game is played by four players in two teams (alternate players form a team), with each player receiving a hand of 8 cards.
The aim of the game is to win rounds (or tricks) and score points, with the highest card in each round winning all four cards of that round. The objective is to win a set by reaching 6 red points (or pushing the opponents to 6 black points).

How to play?

Bid the points between 16 and 29.
If you win the bid, set the trump card to bias the game towards your team.
In each round, the highest card of the first player’s suit wins all the cards, unless another player has trumped it.
Play all the eight rounds and try to win the points you bid for.
Play on multiple games to get +6 in the set score card to win the set.

Twenty Nine - 29 is a South Asian trick-taking card game. It is a very addictive and popular local card game among young and old generations in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Srilanka.
In this game, Jack and Nine are the highest-ranking cards in every suit. This game is played by four players in fixed partnerships, with partners facing each other.
Selected 32 cards from a standard 52-card pack are used for playing this game. Cards below number 7 are not playable in this game. Cards in every suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7.
Cards value(in points):
Jacks = 3 points each
Nines = 2 points each
Aces = 1 point each
Tens = 1 point each
K, Q, 8, 7 = no points
Dealing and Bidding:
Dealing and Calling or placing bids is anti-clockwise. The cards are distributed in two steps by four cards in every step. After analyzing the first four cards, all players bid to choose a trump suit. The highest bidder(bid winner) can choose a trump suit. The bidding range is 16 to 28.
Game Play:
The player next to the Dealer's left side leads the first trick. Other players must follow the color suit if possible, and the winner of each trick leads to the next. Non-bidders must request trump bidder to show trump and the bidder player must show trump before making trump.
After each round, if the bid winner side meets their targeted bid point, their game point will be increased or otherwise decreased.
SPECIALS
Pair(Marriage):
After revealing the trump suit, if any player can show K & Q of the trump suit(called pair or marriage), the player’s team gets extra 4 points.
If the bid winner side can show pair, they have to gain (bid - 4) points to win the round.
If the non-bidding side can show pair, the bidding side has to gain (bid + 4) point to win the round.
***The min point need to win a round is 16
Double:
If the play round is in Double mode, the game point will be increased or decreased by 2.
Non-bidder side can set double after the bidder bid.
