Use this app to detect a leak in your home Microwave. Poorly manufactured or physically damaged Microwave Ovens may allow electromagnetic energy (used to cook your food) to escape into the surrounding environments. This app serves to indicate if this may be happening to you. This app utilizes the embedded magnetic field sensor in your iOS device to detect surrounding magnetic field changes. This app does not intend to serve as a fully calibrated Microwave Leak Detector, only to indicate that a Microwave Leak could be present. Microwave energy that is used to cook your food induces magnetic field changes. If your Microwave Oven has a leak, the embedded sensor in your iOS device can be used to detect those magnetic field changes leaking through your Microwave's casing.
