About the Project: The Arizona Department of Transportation is improving Interstate 10 between I-17 and Loop 202 (Santan/South Mountain Freeways), including the Broadway Curve. When completed, the newly improved freeway will include additional travel and HOV lanes, improved connections between the I-10 and the US 60 and State Route 143, improved access to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and new Collector-Distributor roads between Baseline Road and 40th Street to reduce lane changes on the main freeway.
