Explore tones, drones, textures and soundscapes with Nonatone, a synthesizer with nine independently controlled, open gate oscillators (3 saw waves, 3 square waves and 3 sine waves), as well as a combined global low pass filter and volume control Nonatone is focused on simplicity and playability above all else, with intuitive, responsive controls that allow you to easily shape your sound, and reshape it live as a human modulator. Operation is simple. Drag an oscillator up to increase it’s frequency, and down to decrease it. If the frequency gets low enough, the oscillator will deactivate. And that’s it, nine times over No theory, no patches, no complicated setup, just you and your oscillators Includes an Audio Unit v3 plugin which plays nicely with external effects (I particularly enjoy using it with a shimmer reverb) Note: The Nonatone AU is a "generator", which means it outputs audio without any midi input (or output), which means it won't work in AU hosts such as GarageBand, which are midi based.
