波佐見焼の陶磁器ブランド、HASAMI・BARBAR・ものはら・the placeを運営する株式会社マルヒロの公式サイト。アダムとイブが住む「エデンの園」をめぐる物語から着想を得て作られました。平面に浮かび上がる絵柄が深みのある陰影を纏い、魅惑的な情調を生み出しています。 絵柄の中には、手にすることが禁じられている「禁断の果実」、イブに禁断の果実を食べるように唆した「蛇」、アダムとイブの裸を隠した「イチジクの葉」など、エデンの園を連想させるモチーフが多数描かれています。エデンの園の甘美で誘惑的な快楽を味わうことができるでしょう。 文様を立体的に彫り、釉薬のたまり具合の濃淡により柄に奥行を出す「陽刻彫（ようこくぼり）」という技法を用いています。絵柄を彫っていく作業はとても繊細で、長年の経験と彫った部分に釉薬がどのように溜まるかを想像する力が求められます。 今回、細かい細工や模様が入る原型づくりで随一の技術を持つ原型師・金子哲郎さんに原型を彫っていただきました。また、焼成は250年の歴史のある有田の窯元・梶謙製磁社さんに依頼。 「eden」は歴史の中で培われてきた技術と共にあります。
