Blanton's Bourbon Releases Limited Edition Single Barrel Exclusively for French Market Blanton's 2023 River Edition will Debut at Whisky Live Paris FRANKFORT, KY (Oct. 21, 2023) – Although Frankfort, KY and Paris, France are thousands of kilometers away from each other, they do share one thing in common: a river.  With both cities heavily influenced by the rivers that adjoin them, Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon celebrates their commonality with the release of its 2023 River Edition Bourbon, exclusively produced for La Maison du Whisky, Blanton’s distributor in France.                Blanton’s 2023 River Edition honors the rivers that flow through Frankfort and Paris.  A world apart, the rivers are vital to their communities, providing rich, fertile land on its banks, which led settlers to both areas.  The Kentucky River was a major thoroughfare for the commerce of bourbon in the 19th century, and its limestone water, rich in minerals and low in acidity, make it an essential part of bourbon distillation.  The Seine River, in addition to its importance in trade and transportation, has inspired people for centuries.  Countless poems, works of art and romantic encounters have centered around the Seine.  The Blanton’s brand is the perfect bourbon to pay homage to both.              The Blanton’s 2023 River Edition is only available in France, and will debut at Whisky Live Paris on October 21st.  This Limited Edition will be distributed to select on and off-trade accounts through La Maison du Whisky, including its shops in Paris.              With its bright blue illustrated ribbon of water meandering its way across both the black gift box and bottle label, the 2023 River Edition will be hard to miss on shelves and at bars.  A silver holographic emblem on the box pays homage to picturesque bridges across the Seine and Kentucky Rivers.  Inside, the bottle is adorned with its classic gold wax and gold horse stopper which fans have come to adore (and collect!)
