The Matrix is a contemporary and stylish monolithic-form tower recalling elements of European Modernist architecture; the dark, rippled concrete and stone façade set against the blue skies of Dubai provides a unique juxtaposition. The 34-storey tower dominates Sports City, and provides residents with contemporary interior finishes and innovative features, making it the standout development in the district. The structure of the building is regular, however the balconies have been sloped to give the illusion of a subtle curvature in construction. The balconies are a focal point in more ways than one, with an open plan design encouraging a sense of community among residents, as opposed to the standard practice of partitioning.
