This app is action packed, with four audio games offering the opportunity to actively develop an understanding of novel sonification concepts. Analysing information in this sound-only app requires attentive listening: an essential life-skill for some, and of benefit to all students. In addition, this app supports the development of independent learning skills, and offers a wide range of learning opportunities within the STEAM education curriculum – including for students who are blind or visually impaired. World-wide, sonification is increasingly being applied in science (particularly astronomy), technology and the arts. There’s growing awareness about its opportunities for accessibility, inclusiveness, and multisensory learning.
