Prime Day 2025: Retail Winners, Losers, and Key Insights for Q4

Digital marketing and e-commerce leaders are always scanning the horizon for online tools that can help them grow their businesses, and Similarweb research identified five that have caught fire over the past year: Shoplazza, AppSamurai, Power Reviews, Writer, and YouAppi.
Shoplazza was the fastest-growing of the bunch, while YouAppi was the largest, having grown traffic by about 230% in the past year to more than 12 million monthly visits. This research was based on the methodology used for the Similarweb Digital 100, in this case identifying the fastest growing web domains categorized as “Online Marketing” in Similarweb’s taxonomy.
To identify domains with sustained growth, we looked at total US traffic over a 12-month period (August 2022 to July 2023), compared with the previous year. To be included, the website had to average more than 100,000 monthly visits – and half that for the previous year. These criteria aim to filter out websites experiencing a momentary surge in traffic, as well as those who seem to have “come out of nowhere.” We also made some judgment calls to identify the most relevant companies.
The five companies identified show a combination of growth and scale. Although YouAppi is much larger than the rest, it also achieved its current size with a rapid growth trajectory.

By sheer growth, Shoplazza is the clear winner, although AppSamurai also has a significant lead on the rest.

Shoplazza has been in business for a few years, but really took off within the last 12 months.

YouAppi is by far the largest of these tools, ranked by web traffic. Shoplazza is #2 but far behind in scale.

Online marketing is always reinventing itself, and the five tools we highlighted here are just some of those helping digital businesses connect better with their audiences. We could tweak our selection criteria, for example by limiting the analysis to domains with more than 1 million visits rather than more than 100,000, and come up with a whole different winner’s circle. But that doesn’t change the fact that these five have achieved outstanding digital performance.
