Ron Asher

Ron has over 20 years of experience in R&D leadership roles in global companies. He most recently served as the VP of Engineering in Bond, where he performed as the R&D Leader, responsible for driving the vision, strategy and implementation for all technical aspects of the company’s products and services. Prior to this, Ron was the VP R&D for Startoscale and SVP Engineering in PrimaryData. Before that, Ron was the VP Engineering of Diligent Technologies that was acquired by IBM. After the acquisition by IBM, Ron acted as the head of the XIV division in IBM System and Technology Development department, scaling the department dramatically and driving substantial revenue growth. Ron holds a BSc in Statistics and Computer Science (graduated with distinction) and has coursework towards MSc in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University. He is a graduate of the Israeli intelligence corps elite (8200) where he held a leadership role on a strategic project that won the Israeli Defense Prize awarded by the president of Israel.
