Welcome to Relaxation by Newpharma, the new app designed to help you to relax and improve your overall well-being.
Our relaxation app offers, for free, a relaxing experience which combines 3D animations, sounds (binaural sounds/Alpha waves), deep breathing exercises and yoga sessions.
If you want to bring your experience to the next level, we propose a selection of ancient eastern and western ingredients that can enhance the sense of smell, taste and touch.
Whether you are at home, at work or on the go, our app is here to support you on your journey to inner peace. Download the app and discover the benefits of relaxation!
A few words about relaxation… Relaxation helps you self-center, allowing you to take a kind and understanding attitude towards yourself. Meditation and mindfulness are ways to purposefully regulating a person's attention for relaxation, increasing our capacity to show kindness and empathy towards other people. Focusing attention on a changing object such as physical sensations, progressive muscle relaxation or movements as yoga, tai chi and Qigong as guide. With concentration, the natural response of your body antagonises stress. Meditation can therefore contribute to relaxation especially if you feel stressed.
Within this App, we give you the opportunity to experience relaxation via three types of sounds: Alpha waves, binaural sounds and 3D sounds.
Brain waves
There are five types of brain waves: alpha, beta, theta, delta, and gamma. Meditation and relaxation affect the brain’s activity. While beta waves are most prevalent when you are talking or active, fast beta waves are in action when adults are awake, alert, yet anxious and perhaps too focused. Alpha waves are observed from the relaxed wake state before sleep onset. When a person is 'in the zone', they are totally relaxed, yet highly focused. At that point, alpha waves organise the brain. Theta waves are found between the wakefulness and sleep state. When you meditate, theta waves surge as your brain enters deep relaxation.
Binaural sounds
These sounds occur when two frequencies that differ less than 20 Hz are applied externally through headphones or earbuds. The brain perceives and processes the difference. These sounds are associated with positive impacts on well-being by stimulating specific left brain regions.
3D sounds
Spatial sensations include the apparent location, apparent source width and subjective diffuseness of sounds arriving at the two ears. These spatial factors are more prominently processed in the brain's right hemisphere. Wear headphones or earbuds.
Our yoga exercices will help you to relax.
The Yoga Breath or Pranayama lowers your heart rate and reduces oxygen levels in your blood. By stimulating the nervous system, this exercise offers peace of mind. An ideal solution for people suffering from anxiety or stress.
The benefits of yoga have been known for thousands of years. It fits perfectly with our contemporary lifestyle as people tend to spend hours upon hours in front of their computer which results in mounting pressure on the body. Regular yoga sessions help us create balance between our busy professional lives and our well-being.
How to further enhance your experience? We propose a selection of ancient eastern and western ingredients that can further add smell, taste and feeling to your relaxation experience. We grouped them around three main topics that could interest you: Better relaxation, Better focus & Better sleep.
