Storage Access Framework:
While SAF support is common on most Android phones, it's relatively rare on Android TV, with Nvidia Shield TV being a notable exception.
To access files and folders (tree) with SAF, additional SAF providers need to be installed. Here's a list of tested SAF providers:
1. Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive: Install the respective app to enable SAF OPEN FILES support.
2. SMB network drive: On Nvidia Shield TV, add an SMB connection in storage settings to enable both SAF OPEN TREE and SAF OPEN FILES support.
3. MTP/PTP: Simply connect your iPhone or Android phone to your TV, and turn on photo transfer mode to enable this provider in the SAF picker interface.
Disclaimer:
1. This app does not include any video or photo content. Users can play their own content from internal storage, external storage, or network locations. Playback capability may vary based on device compatibility and limitations.
2. Google Drive integration was available in previous versions, but it has been removed due to new API scope restrictions. Unfortunately, we cannot resolve this issue at this time. Existing connections with Google Drive may continue to work unless they are revoked by Google Cloud.
