Get organized: Use the app to get an overview of your content, with tags and favorite documents. Create folders for collecting notebooks and files by topic. Save one for each project, or separate work and personal notes. This will help you find and arrange the content stored on your paper tablet with Search. You can also remove clutter by deleting any digital paper that has piled up. Fresh paper in your pocket: Our notebooks take full advantage of the flexibility of digital paper for taking notes, typing, and sketching. All of your content is always available, and you can both make fresh notebooks, folders, and add note pages in PDFs and ebooks. Take focused notes, anywhere: Make your ideas easier to refine and share on the go. Our cloud storage allows you to sync your content and pick up right where you left off on your paper tablet. Use the app to create new notebooks or quick sheets, and add blank note pages to existing documents. Checkboxes in the formatting menu are great for to-do lists. Type pages of notes, or quickly write out shorter lists to review and annotate later on your reMarkable.

Dark note is totally free. There are no features behind a paywall. Dark note is also ad-free so you can enjoy note-taking without getting annoyed by bombardments of weird and dumb ads. If you want to support Dark Note, buy me some coffee by going to the settings page and clicking on the cool-looking coffee cup. Dark note makes it easy to add notes and checklists. Its design is very easy on the eyes and is also easy to use. Taking a Note The only limit for the note length is the capacity of your device storage. Once a note is created, any edits will be saved letter by letter. Notes can be archived, shared, locked, exported, and much more. Making a Checklist You can add as many items as you want. List items can be easily edited or deleted by clicking on the edit icon. Each item can be checked off with a simple click in which that item is striked-through and once all items have been checked off, the title will also be striked-through marking completion. Features - Quick and easy to create notes and checklists. - You can create a budget directly inside your checklist and track your expenses. - Rich text editing allows you to customize how your notes look. - Support for widgets to make it even faster to view your notes. - Audio can be added to checklist items. - Photos can be included to your notes and checklists. In addition, a photo can be added for each individual checklist item. - Notes and checklists can be archived, pinned, checked (marked as completed), shared, and text size can be changed. - Locations can be added to checklist items. - You can add notes and checklists to folders for organization. - You can set a reminder for a note or checklist. - Notes and checklists can be locked and opened with a pin or fingerprint. Permissions * All permissions are disabled by default, when using these features it will ask for permission* - Camera: For taking pictures to add to notes or checklist. - Microphone: For adding audio to checklist. - Storage: For backing up your notes to your device or Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. - Other permissions: Fingerprint to lock/unlock your notes, vibration and notification for reminders, network access is for adding locations to checklist, Advertising ID Permission is for analytics - such as crashing (it's not for ads, I don't even have any), and lastly, run at startup - which is used to update the widget when the device is restarted.
